This ring commemorates my year of self protection and integration into the art community. I have formed relationships that I know will last, with people who have the same life goals as me. I am so grateful to have found a new group of people that are equally ambitious about their art. The community we have formed is similar to rat colonies in the sense that we help each other out; whether that be an opinion on or physical help with a piece, or even moral support. It honors the year of me letting go of things that don’t serve me and finding a new community that I can thrive in.
